What makes this watch so special is the timing complication called a “split-second” or “rattrapante” chronograph.  The timing second hand actually splits into two separate hands (thus split-second) with the push of the button at the 8 o’clock mark allowing the user to time an event within an event – then when pushed again the split-second hand rejoins as one to continue timing.
