In 1988, Chopard became the event sponsor of the Mille Miglia race, in conjunction with Karl and Karl-Friedrich Scheufele’s personal passion for collectors’ cars.  As a family company, Chopard has always regarded this partnership as much more than a passive commitment, and father and son have personally participated every year in the 1000-mile race from Brescia to Rome and back.

This watch features:

• Polished stainless steel case.
• Flat matte black dial with recessed sub-dials finished with a fine concentric circle guilloche pattern. The sub dial is rimmed with a fine polished steel band
• Polished stainless steel hour & minute hands with luminous fill
• Bold luminous index hour markers
• Fine printed minutes/seconds & fractions of a second track
• Chronograph/Stopwatch:
  • Large polished steel central seconds counter hand with read arrow head
  • 30 minute counter sub-dial located at the 12 o’clock position
  • 12 hour sub-dial counter located at the 6 o’clock position
• GMT/2nd timezone:
  • Indicated using large central polished steel hand with a luminous arrow head tip.
  • Fixed black bezel with 24 hour indications
  • The 2nd timezone is indicated in 24 hour mode in order for the wearer to recognize if it is day or night
• Small continuous running seconds sub-dial with red hand located at the 9 o’clock position
• Date window displayed at the 3 o’clock position
• Solid steel case back with an embossed “1000 MIGLIA” logo & engraved with “LIMITED EDITION xxxx/2012”, the outer diamoneter of the case back has been finished with a repetitive circular graining
• Chopard COSC certified automatic movement, beats at 28,800 vph, contains 28 Jewels & has an approximate power reserve of 48 hours
