Description
IWC Spitfire Utc In Stainless Steel
Ref# IW3251-07
This piece has been discontinued – but please check if it is still available as a pre-owned piece.
Universal Time Coordinated (UTC) is an international time standard that is identical with Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). In an increasingly globalized world, it provides a time constant. It is immensely important to pilots and travelers who change continents and time zones in rapid succession, or for business people who communicate with associates all over the world. In the late 1990s, especially for them, IWC began making a reliable wristwatch with two time zones: the IWC Pilot’s Watch UTC with its 24-hour display. On the IWC Spitfire UTC, local time is shown on the dial. This can be advanced or moved back in 1-hour steps, even beyond the date. Home time is displayed in a 24-hour display window.
Features
- 39mm Stainless steel case
- Automatic self-winding movement with date indication and GMT ability
- Sapphire Crystal
- Screw down crown
- Water resistant 60m
- Comes as pictured on very lightly worn original IWC brown alligator skin strap with
- Tang buckle
Condition
Watch is pre-owned in absolute excellent condition. Lightly worn with very slight signs of wear – I would rate this piece at 98% condition. It comes 100% complete as it did the day it was purchased with all original IWC presentation boxes, booklets and warranty card.
